This is definitely the most popular textbook of medical pharmacology in India. It's not much recommended by the professors though. I personally didn't like it so much. It's just like B.D. Chaurasia but for pharmacology. It may be useful for quick revision before exams (good enough as the only textbook for many students) but if you want to understand the subject better, I'd recommend Satoskar. This is a clinical book foe Medicine that is supposed to be useful in learning the clinical/practical part of Medicine which involves history-taking, examination etc. I have seen quite a few students using it. Another Indian clinical book is Palekar, which I like better but don't have the ebook version. Some similar Western books are Hutchison's and Macleod's.
